Small things of great importance
I was thinking about those small things that we do in life that have such profound effects in our lives. This weekend my niece was baptized, and I was thinking how easy a thing it is, but how crucial it is.
My sister-in-law just left to server a mission in Quito, Ecuador. To the rest of this world not a significant happening. At best through her mission she may be in contact with maybe 1000 people, not huge by some standards. Then why go, what is the motivation. I believe that the implication is deeper than we can comprehend. The changes in those she talks with and helps, it may the single most important thing that happens in their life.
When we talk with those around us, what we say at some moment may seem small to us, but in their life it may stay with them or may change their life completely.
